Screw Extractors
Sometimes referred to as spiral screw extractors, easy-outs, or EZ-outs, screw extractors are used to remove broken or seized screws and bolts. Screw extractors feature left-hand spiral flutes that are ideal for removing fasteners without damaging hole threads. A pilot hole is first drilled into the end of the fastener to be removed. The screw extractor is inserted into the hole and twisted to ''unscrew'' the fastener (or pipe).
